Rose of York is the place where, besides of learning English in short time, I've met lots of people from different nationalities, and with them, I've enjoyed the social programs such as pub nights and the visits to tourist places, which for me is the best way to practise the English that I learn at Rose of York.

Before I came to London, I was just so excited to be one of the fascinating Londoners without much consideration. Soon, I found it really tough to live in London due to lack of understanding English. To be honest, I couldn't recognise the difference between verb and adverb. One thing I could only say was that I lost my luggage, which I prepared to speak it on the airplane on my way to London just in case.Thank to my School, Rose of York, I've improved my English significantly. My name is Winnie Kouakou and I am 18 years old. I come from Ivory Coast in West Africa. I have attended Rose of York Language School from December 2006 to April 2007. I really enjoyed my course. The atmosphere was friendly, cheerful, so I gradually felt at easy with other classmates.
