Other Services
Opening a Bank Account
Recent changes in banking procedures have made opening a UK
bank account difficult. Rose of York will assist eligible
students with all the advice they need on how to meet
requirements and open an account, but it is necessary to
have a student visa for at least six months.
Social Activities
Throughout the year Rose of York organises many optional
trips and sightseeing tours on which the teachers accompany
the students. Meals in London's restaurants and trips to
English pubs are frequent events and an ideal way to
practise the English you have learnt.
See pictures of recent events
Certificates
Upon finishing, our students can obtain a certificate of
attendance if they have attended at least 80% of their
classes. Both the teacher and the college's principal sign
this document.
