Pride London 5th July


Pride is organised by LGBY (lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered) community. There is a parade through central London followed by a rally in Trafalgar Square. The event is free and can be enjoyed by anyone.

 

 

 

 

The British 10k London   6th July


A road race through the heart of London. thousands of people take part to raise money for charity. The race starts at about 9:30 am and follows this route: Piccadilly, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square, Embankment, St. Paul's Cathedral, Victoria, Westminster.

 

 

Diaspora London Music Village  12th-13th July 2008


Free music from London-based artists from around the world, performed on a stage in the middle of Hyde Park from 1-9pm on Saturday and Sunday. The line-up includes African, Latin, Jewish, Asian, Kurdish, East European and Chinese styles.
 

 

     

 

Houses of Parliament  Summer Opening 28th July to 27th September


During the summer break for Parliament it is possible to buy a ticket for a 75-minute guided tour of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

 

 

 

 

 

Summer opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace

31st July to 29th September


While the Queen visits Scotland each summer, it is possible to buy a ticket to see the state Rooms at Buckingham Palace.
